Mary Brandon

Mary Leslie Brandon is an George Mason University graduate with a masters in special education and a recent retiree with over 25 years of teaching.  She is a Proud U.S. Navy veteran with over 15 years of service in the communications and cryptology field. Her performance background includes acting, directing, costuming coordination, among other things.  She is proud to be a Board Member of the  Magnolia Arts Center.
Mary has acted in productions all over the world during her military years, as well as numerous community theaters in Maryland, Florida, New Jersey, and now North Carolina.   Some of her favorite roles include Maude Larrabee in Sabrina Fair,  Bonnie in Anything Goes,  Agnes Gooch in  Mame, and Annie Mae (“French Fries”) in Talking with….. .
She has twice directed the casts of Magnolia Arts Center’s Ten Minute Play Competitions and looks forward to directing in 2020.   Mary has been one of the Volunteer Coordinators at MAC, and is currently an active member of the Production Committee at MAC.
